1 cup rolled oats, pulsed a few times in food processor
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking soda
5 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
*Peanut butter to serve

Pancakes:
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl
In a smaller bowl or large liquid measuring cup, whisk buttermilk, melted butter and eggs together until combined
Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, whisking constantly
Cook on buttered skillet or nonstick griddle
Serve topped with melted peanut butter and bananas foster.
Bananas Foster:
Slice bananas into ¼ inch thick rings
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter then add bananas and watch until they begin to soften.
Flip slices and add brown sugar and spices
Allow liquids to become syrupy, then remove from heat.
